My brand new Yard Sale Find - A Serger! A source of endless joy and frustration!

I was raised in a family where you heal the energy above your wound before you put a band aid on it, boredom was a choice and thoughts are believed to become things - all topics for much bigger discussions... however, perhaps on the smallest scale possible, Friday's post and thinking of great yard sale finds lead me to the newest member of my sewing collection.

Meet Agent Bernette - Fun lock 004. Purchased by Mr. S for an amazing price, on a very reliable tip from Papa B, at a yard sale this weekend.

With a few helpful clips on youtube and Mr. S's calming presence, I was able to get three out of the four strings threaded and working smoothly. However, darn number four almost had me pitching this thing out the window!
Luckily Karyn at the Workroom offers a "Serger Essentials" class, which should resolve all issues and get this beauty up in running in time to make some summer dresses!

Happy Sunny Monday!
